Are you concerned about the challenges facing your child and other young people today? Join us for Operation Parent, a series of 5 sessions equipping caregivers with the tools they need to provide support for their middle-high school aged-students. Each session is offered at no cost and features a communal dinner, expert content presenters, door prizes, and more! Presentations are offered in both English and Spanish.

‘Did you know’ series

Caregivers have shared the need for more opportunities and resources to help raise children, teens, and support young adults in Bartholomew County. The ‘Did You Know?’ resource for ages 0-8 provides caregivers affordable local activities to do with children that can build Developmental Assets®. Information is organized by season and year round. Free materials like our ‘Did You Know?’ project is intended to grow awareness of Developmental Assets to caregivers and help all residents find fun and affordable activities close to home.

Community workshops

Council for Youth Development is committed to advancing a culture of positive youth development in Bartholomew County.

By providing workshops, training, and certifications to both youth care professionals and community members, we continue to make strides toward our vision; every young person in Bartholomew County is healthy, safe, educated, engaged, and supported.

Workshops are planned and supported by CYD Professional Development Workgroup.
