About This Event

To improve the lives of all Indiana children, Indiana Youth Institute provides access to reliable data and resources to empower, educate, and equip those who impact youth.  

Join us for a dive into local data in the recently released 2025 Indiana KIDS COUNT® Data Book! Learn and engage with the best and most recent information on child well-being, to inform community leaders, youth workers, and youth-serving organizations with go-to sources for critical data to create positive change for youth.  

Together, we will go over the latest in youth well-being and how you can use data to create positive change for Indiana kids in your community.  

This year’s State of the Child will be an interactive event to dive into local youth-centered data and connect with those working in the youth-services field around how to use data for action.  

Learning Objectives: 

• Gain an understanding of the latest data on child well-being in Indiana

• Learn how to use the Indiana KIDS COUNT Data Book to identify actions you can take to support the youth constituents in your organization, region, and state

• Discuss key data about kids in your county, compared to the state of Indiana 

Held in partnership with Council for Youth Development, this event will be held at The REC at NexusPark.

Lunch will be provided, and registration is required.
